Saros Gets Free Zenith Update With Overlord Rush Boss Mode

Housemarque has released the free Zenith update for Saros, adding a boss rush mode called Overlord Rush along with new difficulty options. The update is available now at no cost, according to GameSpot.
Overlord Rush splits the game's bosses into separate sets of three fights each and comes with its own dedicated leaderboards. Players reach the mode through the Primary robot in the main hub area.
The Zenith update also brings difficulty modifiers. These include a Slow Game Speed setting that can be adjusted and set to switch on automatically when combat starts, plus an Auto-fire option that fires when the player aims.
Housemarque has added new Carcosan Modifiers as well, among them a Corruption Melee Enhancement protection modifier, and Trial Modifiers that increase difficulty. The update also introduces ultra-hard endgame Eclipse Layers.
Built on existing modifiers
Carcosan Modifiers were already part of Saros at launch, letting players make the game easier or harder. Saros was released exclusively on PS5.
