Panuzi has announced Shadow of Backrooms, a co-op horror game, for launch in 2027, according to Screen Rant. The title can now be added to Steam wishlists.
The game supports up to four players in co-op, with puzzles and entities that players must escape. It also includes both single-player and multiplayer modes.
Shadow of Backrooms will launch in Early Access, with additional content planned for later.
The Backrooms concept began in May 2019 as an anonymous 4chan post asking users to share disquieting images, and later expanded into video games and an A24 film. Screen Rant's Graeme Guttmann gave the A24 film Backrooms 7/10 stars.
