Activision Confirms Shipment Returns in Modern Warfare 4

Activision has confirmed that the Shipment map will return in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4. The confirmation came after fans spotted the map in the newly released trailer for the PC version of the game.

The official Call of Duty account posted a dedicated confirmation of Shipment's return. However, Activision did not say whether Shipment will be among the 12 6v6 maps available at launch or released later.

Shipment first debuted in 2007's Modern Warfare 4. Since then, it has appeared in numerous Modern Warfare games over the years, including Call of Duty: Vanguard and Call of Duty: Mobile.

Activision previously confirmed that MW4 will fix how double XP tokens work and remove the 'update requires restart' notice. The game will also introduce a Warzone feature letting players avoid seeing wacky skins, and it has a brand-new, Counter-Strike style mode.

Modern Warfare 4 launches on October 23 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. It is the first Call of Duty release on a Nintendo platform since 2013's Call of Duty: Ghosts, and the first since Ghosts to skip PS4 and Xbox One.
