Soulframe Open Preludes Alpha opens worldwide on PC November 6
Digital Extremes will make the free Alpha playtest downloadable from the official Soulframe website for Windows PC.
Digital Extremes announced during its October 30 devstream that Soulframe's early Alpha playtest, called Soulframe Open Preludes, will open worldwide to PC players on Friday, November 6. The playtest will be free to download from the official Soulframe website for Windows PC.
Soulframe is a free-to-play open-world fantasy action RPG built around melee and magic combat. Digital Extremes said features will continue to be added to the playtest over time.
Creative Director Geoff Crookes said mounts and world progression systems are being introduced now, which he said makes this the right time to gather feedback from more players.
The game remains in Alpha. A smaller group of players previously took part in Preludes testing, according to Screen Rant.
Digital Extremes' earlier free-to-play title, Warframe, launched in 2013 and has remained popular for more than a decade.
