Square Enix Reveals Chocobo no Scout Frenzy Board Game

Square Enix announced the board game 'Chocobo no Scout Frenzy Board Game' on October 15 and has already started taking pre-orders on the Square Enix e-STORE. The game is priced at 4400 yen including tax, with a planned release date of March 27, 2027.

The title is designed for 2 to 5 players, with an average play time of about 30 minutes, and is recommended for ages 10 and up. It features chocobos from the Final Fantasy series in what the company describes as a chaotic battle.

The box contents include 100 chocobo cards, 50 exploration cards, 15 command coins, and 2 types of High/Low markers. The rules see players secretly selecting a number card, with the player holding the highest number getting to pick a scoring card first; the player with the highest total score of scoring cards at the end wins.
