Franchise reaches 25 million players
Holt said the State of Decay franchise has reached around 25 million players across its two released games. The sequel is set to launch next year on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S and X.
Undead Labs was to be sold to a third party after the Big Xbox Reset, but the studio instead completed an employee buyout and returned to independence. Holt has been studio head since May 2020.
