Steam generated an estimated $1.7 billion in September 2026, its highest-grossing September on record, according to Alinea Analytics. The figure represents a 13% increase compared to the same month last year.
The platform's third quarter was also its strongest ever, with revenue reaching $5.5 billion, up 12% year-over-year. For the first nine months of 2026, Steam's total revenue climbed to $16.5 billion, a 13% rise over the same period in 2025.
