SteelSeries holds Aim Master tournament to preview Sensi Pro mouse
The October 24 event at T1 Base Camp Gangnam let 300 pre-registered players plus walk-ins try the Sensi Pro 8K UWB mouse before release.
SteelSeries held the SteelSeries Aim Master tournament on October 24 at the T1 Base Camp Gangnam location in Korea to mark the launch of its new gaming mouse, the Sensi Pro, according to game.donga.com.
The event was the first chance for users to handle the Sensi Pro before its release. The mouse supports an 8K polling rate using ultra-wideband (UWB) wireless technology instead of the 2.4GHz band.
300 people recruited online on a first-come, first-served basis and on-site applicants competed in a designated game in 3D Aim Trainer, with 10 minutes per person. Total prize money was 2 million won, with 1 million won for first place.
All participants received a QcK gaming mousepad, SteelSeries X T1 team stickers and a 50-minute pass for the T1 Base Camp Gangnam PC cafe. The venue's PCs were equipped with Arctis Nova 3 headsets and Apex Pro Gen 3 TKL keyboards, and the 10 SteelSeries team box seats also had Aerox 5 wired mice and QcK Pro XL mousepads.
SteelSeries Korea branch manager Lee Hye-kyung said the event was prepared so customers could experience the Sensi Pro first.
