HIHAHEHO Studio shows multi-window novel game swandive at DREAMSCAPE #5
The Steam title, told from three students' perspectives in a summer settlement, is due in 2027 and runs about two hours.
HIHAHEHO Studio exhibited swandive, its multi-window-style novel game, at DREAMSCAPE #5 at the Tokyo International Forum on October 24, 2026, according to 4gamer.net. The game is scheduled for release on Steam in 2027.
In swandive, characters narrate a single incident from their own perspectives. The story is set in a summer settlement and is told through the viewpoints of the students Asa, Yuu and Yoru. The demo shown at the event offered a digest of the opening of chapter 1.
The work is built around the theme of not denying others' perspectives. To support that structure, a novel game engine capable of handling multiple windows was developed specifically for the title.
The setting was researched around Mt. Buko in Chichibu. Development has taken about one and a half years, and the game was largely made by one person, with mgr allergen0024 credited as director.
The completed version consists of four chapters and takes about two hours to reach the ending. The project was originally planned as a research production at an art graduate school.
