Blizzard Reveals New Sylvanas Design for World of Warcraft: Forever
Blizzard unveiled a new look for Sylvanas Windrunner ahead of her return in World of Warcraft: Forever, launching November 4, 2026.
Blizzard Entertainment unveiled a new character design for Sylvanas Windrunner ahead of her return in World of Warcraft: Forever, according to gamerant.com. The expansion launches on November 4, 2026.
The new model shows Sylvanas with features resembling a Blood Elf, including darker skin and bright red eyes, differing from her vanilla Night Elf model. The design is currently visible in the beta for World of Warcraft: Forever.
Her return follows her appearance in the Midnight expansion, where she returned in the March on Quel'Danas raid for Season 1, defending Silvermoon one last time through a portal from The Maw. In Midnight, she also protected her sister Vereesa and nephew Arator before returning to The Maw. Sylvanas had mostly disappeared after the Shadowlands expansion, and her legacy was tainted by that expansion's reception among players.
A separate World of Warcraft Horde and Alliance release is announced for November 2026, without Sylvanas.
