About the Remaster

Tales of Eternia Remastered is a remastered version of the RPG Tales of Eternia, known as the "RPG of eternity and bonds," made easier to play for current-generation consoles. In October 2026, it was confirmed for release on October 16 on Steam only, with support for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PS4, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

The game is set in Eternia, a facing-worlds setting where Inferia and Celestia face each other, and follows Rid and others living in Inferia as they set out to prevent the Grand Fall, in which the two worlds collide. The remastered version adds features such as destination icons, a boost function that changes the experience point multiplier, a high-speed auto-battle mode, and carry-over elements for multiple playthroughs, along with the option to switch between "Remaster" and "Original" background graphics and sound effects.
