Tekken 8 pro SuperBrine hits top rank blindfolded on stream
SuperBrine spent four months climbing Tekken 8's ranked ladder from the lowest tier to Tekken God with a sleep mask over his eyes.
Tekken 8 pro player SuperBrine reached the game's highest rank, Tekken God, while wearing a sleep mask that fully covered his eyes, according to game.donga.com. The full climb was broadcast live on his stream.
The run began at entry level, the lowest rank in Tekken 8's ranked play, and took four months to complete. SuperBrine said he told hits, blocks and wall impacts apart by sound, and predicted opponents' attack patterns based on the rank they held.
He streamed the entire challenge rather than posting clips after the fact, presenting the broadcast as proof of the feat.
Some viewers credited the result to his choice of Alisa Bosconovitch, a character widely considered strong in the game, rather than to blind play alone.
