QUByte Interactive is bringing the Thunder Hoop arcade games to Steam this year. The Thunder Hoop Collection, which includes the original 1992 game and its 1994 sequel TH Strikes Back, launches on October 8.
The collection adds modern features: save states, a rewind function, and customizable screen filters. TH Strikes Back supports local co-op, while the first game's multiplayer mode uses alternating turns.
Gaelco, the Spanish videogame label behind the series, was known for its arcade output in the 1990s. Both games follow a hero fighting mutants unleashed by Dr Genbreak.
