Solo developer Takechika.NK released the free browser game TKG-do on October 16. The game simulates making tamago kake gohan, raw egg over rice, and runs in PC and smartphone web browsers, according to Automaton Media.
Players scoop rice from a rice cooker, shape it in the bowl, then crack up to three raw eggs into a separate bowl and pour them over the rice. Toppings are shredded nori, green onion, bonito flakes or white sesame, and the seasoning options are soy sauce and salt.
The eggs can be beaten with a whisk, separated so only the yolk goes on the rice, or whipped into meringue. Each finished dish is scored out of 100 across six categories: presentation, egg, taste, texture, appearance and temperature.
Every dish also receives a title, and players can save an image of it or share it on X. The game is available for free on the N.K. Works official site.
