Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis trailer shows Peru, Greece, Egypt and Atlantis

New official footage of the remake debuted at the TR30 Derby and MCM London, with a February 12, 2027 release set for Switch 2, PS5, PC and Xbox Series X.

Crystal Dynamics, Flying Wild Hog and Amazon Game Studios showed new official footage of Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis at the TR30 Derby and MCM London, according to Polygon. The trailer covers the remake's four major locations: Peru, Greece, Egypt and Atlantis.

The footage shows the Atlas puzzle, Atlantean enemies and Lara Croft turning to gold from the hand of King Midas' statue, a sequence drawn from one of the original game's better-known moments.

The remake adds modern features to the 1996 structure, including a Focus meter, skill trees and crafting. In the summer, game director Raul Siquera explained how the Focus meter lets players slow time and unlock Lara's acrobatic moves.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis launches on February 12, 2027 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Windows PC and Xbox Series X. A Survivor trilogy costume is offered as a pre-order incentive, and the deluxe and collector's editions include 48 hours of early access.

Thirty years after the first game

The original Tomb Raider released on Sega Saturn 30 years ago, with its PlayStation and PC versions arriving a month later. The weekend footage arrived as that anniversary was marked.
