Tombwater Update 1.1 Adds Class Respec and a New Boss
The free October 26 patch lets players switch between all seven starting classes and adds the Lanternkeeper boss in the Casket Workshop.
Tombwater received free Update 1.1 on October 26, 2026, adding a class respec option, a new boss, a new weapon and six additional language options, according to Screen Rant.
The respec is handled by Drinks Johnson at the saloon in Vauxhall Mining Camp: hand over at least one Whiskey Bottle and players can switch between all seven starting classes and redistribute HP, MP and Stamina without restarting the game.
The patch also adds the Lanternkeeper, a boss found inside the Casket Workshop at the northern end of Tombwater Cemetery. Players reach the encounter by using the Wraith Shot to light ten candles. Defeating the Lanternkeeper rewards the Ghostlamp Blade, a weapon that triggers Burn and Cold effects.
Tombwater, developed by Moth Atlas and published by Midwest Games, launched on Steam on March 31, 2026. It currently holds a 9/10 overall Steam rating, with 91% positive reviews from more than 300 user reviews.
Background
Moth Atlas previously developed Yarntown, a fan-made tribute to FromSoftware's Bloodborne, which was released on March 24, 2015 for PlayStation.
