Square Enix patches Torneko no Daibouken remaster across all platforms

The October 19, 2026 update tunes action timing, monster behaviour and fixes freezes, stuck buttons and save failures.

Square Enix released an update for Torneko no Daibouken: Fushigi no Dungeon Chotto Suteki na Remaster on all platforms on October 19, 2026, according to gamespark.jp. The patch targets game tempo, message display, monster behaviour and a range of bugs.

The update adjusts sound effect playback timing so players can act sooner after music starts, and reworks battle message timing. Japanese text line breaks were also changed for readability.

Monster behaviour received several changes, covering split behaviour, bomb rock chain explosions, trap activation and bugs affecting napping monsters. The patch also fixes an item effect that was not working correctly.

Freezes and input fixes

Square Enix addressed a controller issue where buttons could rarely remain pressed, a freeze occurring after messages under certain conditions, and a problem where diagonal dashing could not be stopped. Players can now act during the level-up fanfare, and delayed message scrolling during battles has been corrected.

The update further fixes achievement and play record tracking, rare save failures, encyclopedia errors, field-of-view and HP gauge adjustments, and first-time broadcast feature confirmation items.

The game is available for PC via Steam and Google Play PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, iOS and Android, priced at 3,520 yen (3,500 yen on iOS/Android).
