Shanghai Alice Reprise announced a physical package version of Touhou Koumakyou: New Classic ~ the Embodiment of Scarlet Devil. for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, set for release on December 17, 2026, according to gamespark.jp.
The physical edition includes a download code for the Classic version and a soundtrack player, along with a reversible jacket styled after the 2002 Touhou Koumakyou release. It also bundles Touhou Koumakyou character and danmaku stickers and Marisa's incident resolution notes.
The Switch 2 version is priced at 5,610 yen including tax, while the Switch version costs 4,400 yen including tax. Both will be sold at game retailers and e-commerce sites nationwide.
The publisher said the release follows user requests to have a physical package version to keep on hand.
