Toy Story Double Pack Hits Nintendo Switch in Japan

U&I Entertainment Japan released a packaged Nintendo Switch version of the Toy Story double pack at 4,950 yen, bundling two Digital Eclipse titles.

U&I Entertainment Japan has released a packaged Nintendo Switch version of 'Toy Story: Retro Roundup! + Toy Story 3 Complete Edition Double Pack', according to gamespark.jp. The bundle combines 'Toy Story: Retro Roundup!' and 'Toy Story 3 Complete Edition', both developed by Digital Eclipse, and is priced at 4,950 yen (tax included).

'Toy Story: Retro Roundup!' collects 11 versions of early Toy Story games and adds features such as rewind, infinite lives and invincibility cheat codes, along with a digital museum and soundtracks.

'Toy Story 3 Complete Edition' is a remaster of the 2010 film-based 3D adventure 'Toy Story 3: The Video Game'. It adds improved graphics and frame rate, a Story Mode and a Toy Box Mode, plus Zurg playability and four additional theme packs.

Both titles are also available individually for PC (Steam), PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch.

Older releases behind the pack

The games included in 'Toy Story: Retro Roundup!' date back to releases from 1998 to 2001, among them 'Toy Story' (1995), 'Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue!' (1999), 'Toy Story 2' (1999), 'Buzz Lightyear of Star Command' (2000), 'Toy Story Racer' (2001) and 'A Bug's Life' (1998). The two collections were already on sale individually across those platforms before this packaged release, and 'Toy Story 3 Complete Edition' remasters a game originally based on the 2010 film 'Toy Story 3'.
