Rainbow Six Mobile was originally announced in 2022 as a mobile version of Rainbow Six Siege, which itself launched in December 2015 and has grown to more than 70 million registered players.
The game first entered beta in September 2022 before Ubisoft launched it internationally on Android and iOS in February 2026.
Ubisoft has also released the spinoff Rainbow Six Extraction in January 2022, which received mixed reviews, and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Tactics is slated for release in 2027.
