Uma Musume Pretty Derby adds Shundai Festival scenario on October 26

Cygames will add a new training scenario to Uma Musume Pretty Derby on October 26, 2026 at 12:00, the company announced. The scenario centres on the Shundai Festival, a festival held once every 12 years at which the Uma Musume are appointed as performers of a special ritual, according to inside-games.jp.

The core system is a performance practice mechanic: training fills a performance gauge, and when it maxes out the practice activates and strengthens normal training according to its level. Training performances include yabusame horseback archery and a dedication dance.

The scenario's link characters are Daiwa Scarlet, Mayano Top Gun, Yukino Bijin, No Reason and Blast Onepiece, alongside a new character: a shrine maiden who oversees the festival and is regarded with awe by those around her. She is voiced by Kotono Mitsuishi and will be added as an SSR support card in a gacha starting October 26 at 12:00. The article notes that a horse of the same name is said to have existed in Meiji-era Japan.

Launch campaign and other updates

A launch campaign from October 26 at 12:00 includes login bonuses and missions for jewels, rainbow crystal shards and gacha tickets, a free daily 10-pull up to 80 pulls, and a support gacha for the new scenario. The support card exchange ticket lineup adds Duramente, Tanino Gimlet and Fine Motion.

A trainer skills test tied to the new scenario will be held, with a ranking by trained Uma Musume offering a special title. In early November, a Trainer Note update will allow zooming in on Uma Musume, Master Challenge archives will be added, and Super Creek will receive an evolution skill.
