Fishing Incremental Game 'Umi no Sakana, Zenbu Tsuru' Demo Hits Steam

The demo covers 30 to 40 minutes of the game's opening and runs on Steam Deck with support for 14 languages, including Japanese.

The playable demo of the incremental fishing action game known in Japan as Umi no Sakana, Zenbu Tsuru was released on Steam on October 19, 2026, according to 4gamer.net. No official English title has been announced.

The demo covers roughly 30 to 40 minutes of the full game's early section. It is playable on Steam Deck and supports 14 languages, including Japanese.

The game is also planned to take part in Steam Next Fest, which runs from October 20 at 2:00 to October 27 at 2:00.

In the game, players drop a hook from a boat and repeat fishing runs of about 60 seconds each, with the goal of catching all 100 million fish in the sea. Money earned from catches goes into a skill tree that improves movement speed, the number of fish caught at once and hook size.

Upgrades raise catches from one fish to 10, 100 and 1000, unlock new fish and add skills such as the automatic-catching Diver and the one-button Explosion. The full version adds drones and UFOs to fish gathering, alongside teleporting sea urchins, rapidly accelerating squid and giant sharks.

The full game is expected to take 4 to 5 hours. Its release date and price are undecided.
