US lifetime PS5 sales are 1% higher than PS4 sales at the same point in their lifespans, according to Circana analyst Mat Piscatella. The comparison falls in the 71st month of the PS5 generation, pushsquare.com reported.
The gap is narrower against Sony's earlier console. At the same stage, US PS5 sales run 30% higher than PS3 sales were, Piscatella said.
The figures track cumulative US hardware sales across three PlayStation generations, measured from each console's launch rather than by calendar year.
