Netmarble adds new boss zone and clan guardian in Vampir update
The October 21 patch introduces the Sanctuary of Sacred Grace, the guardian Kruor and the regular Arena season, plus Halloween events.
Netmarble released a large-scale update for its MMORPG Vampir on October 21, adding a new elite dungeon boss zone, a clan guardian and the regular season of Arena, according to gamemeca.com.
The new boss zone, called Sanctuary of Sacred Grace, brings together users from six servers to compete in one place. Players can obtain materials there for crafting Hero-grade chokers and new skillbooks. Netmarble said the new rules were applied based on user feedback from the first elite dungeon boss zone, Gwanggwi-ui Geumyeok.
A new clan guardian named Kruor was also added. Kruor can be summoned in clan occupation battles and applies debuffs that slow enemy movement speed or reduce damage resistance, and can make nearby monsters invincible for a time.
Events and Arena season
An attendance event gives all users one weapon, armor, accessory item and ornament restoration ticket each. A Halloween event dungeon mission runs until November 4, where seals earned from the event dungeon are used for crafting and enhancement. A separate Halloween mission event lets players obtain event dungeon time recharge stones and Sephira summon selection boxes by defeating world bosses and monsters.
The regular season of Arena also began, featuring small-team PvP with a battlefield-only trait system for tank, healer and dealer roles. Netmarble had introduced the Arena pre-season on September 16 and launched the regular season based on feedback gathered during that period. On October 20, a Vampir online livestream looked back on the first large-scale tournament, VCC Clan Championship, and revealed the second-half 2026 update roadmap.
