Volcano Princess Steam free update launches October 30
Gamirror Games said the Steam update adds full Japanese voice acting, new event stills, exploration dungeons and new story content.
Gamirror Games announced on October 27 that a free update for the Steam version of Volcano Princess will be released on October 30. The update brings the Steam release in line with the content added to other platforms earlier this year.
According to Automaton Media, the update includes full Japanese voice acting, new stills for event scenes, new exploration dungeons and newly written story content.
The same additional content was released in July for the PS5, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android versions of the game. It had previously been announced that the complete version's additional elements would come to Steam around October.
Volcano Princess launched on Steam in April 2023 and currently holds an Overwhelmingly Positive rating, with 97% of roughly 45,000 user reviews positive on the platform. An Xbox Series X|S version followed in June 2025.
The Japanese version has featured Mai Nakahara as the daughter's voice since the 2023 release, and the complete version added new character voices including Marina Inoue and Kento Ito.
