Warframe launches one-time Tau community event on October 15
Digital Extremes' event runs until November 17, 2026, and leads into the new star system Tau, with a permanent Tau prologue quest.
Digital Extremes is holding a one-time large-scale community event in Warframe from October 15 to November 17, 2026 (US time), according to 4gamer.net. The event leads into Tau, a new star system.
The developer positions the operation as one of the largest community events in Warframe's history, and it will not be rerun. Players who have cleared the tutorial quest "Vor no Hihou" can travel to Eris and collect the new material "Moonfresh" toward the shared community goal. The collected material is handed over to the Sentient mothership Praghasa in exchange for rewards.
A new mini-quest, the Tau prologue, is available to players who have completed both the "Hex" and "Ancient Alliance" quests. Once the event ends, the quest will remain permanently in the game's quest codex.
Rewards include the Dhampyre Syandana, the Contegorus armor set and a Legendary Core.
Warframe's service began in 2013. The Warframe: Tau content is scheduled for delivery in the latter half of 2026, with the event acting as the build-up to that release.
