Halftone Announces Wheel of Torture, an Incremental Horror Game for Steam

The game drops players into an abandoned 1970s game show, where an animatronic host torments them and landing on an X costs a finger.

Developer Halftone has announced Wheel of Torture, an incremental horror game coming to Steam, according to bloody-disgusting.com.

The game is set in a mysterious abandoned 1970s game show set, where players spin a wheel to earn money and try to win their freedom. An animatronic host mocks and torments the player throughout.

Earnings can be put into upgrades that affect reward sizes, time limits and multipliers. Progression also unlocks trinkets, a hangman sub-game and stickers that modify the wheel.

Failure carries a cost: not spinning within the allotted time, or landing on an X, loses the player a finger.

Comparisons to CloverPit and 500 Finger Fillet

The reveal places Wheel of Torture alongside CloverPit and 500 Finger Fillet. No release window or price has been announced.
