Windblown gets final major update before full release
Motion Twin's 0.9999999 Update adds an attack preview, shop item filters and new floating islands ahead of the game's 2026 launch.
Motion Twin released the "0.9999999 Update" for its early-access roguelite Windblown on October 23, describing it as the last major update before the game's full release. The studio announced the patch through its own channels, as reported by Automaton Media.
The update adds an attack preview that shows the timing and location of enemy attacks in advance, and players can turn the feature off in the accessibility settings. Shops now let players choose which genre of items they are offered, covering equipment, skills, healing items and upgrades.
Motion Twin also added new floating island areas to some stages, an auto-combo feature and a camera distance setting. The patch includes balance adjustments and performance improvements, plus official support for Steam Input and the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.
