Digital Foundry Analyzes The Witcher 3 Remastered on Switch 2

Digital Foundry's technical verdict covers DLSS upscaling and dynamic resolution, and calls the Switch 2 version easy to recommend.

Digital Foundry published its technical analysis of The Witcher 3 Remastered on Nintendo Switch 2, according to nintendolife.com. The outlet's verdict focuses on how the remaster runs on Nintendo's newer hardware and whether the port holds up in practice.

In docked mode, the game uses dynamic resolution between 540p and 1080p, with DLSS outputting to a 1080p target. That combination is central to Digital Foundry's assessment of image quality and performance on the Switch 2.

The Switch 2 version offers a free upgrade for owners of the original Switch release, so existing players can move to the new version at no extra cost.

Digital Foundry previously called the original Switch release one of the most impressive feats on Nintendo's hardware. In its new analysis, the outlet said the game is easy to recommend.
