The Witcher: Legacy Board Game Ships English Edition June 2027

Go On Board and CD Projekt Red's officially licensed board game The Witcher: Legacy opens its campaign after the assault on Kaer Morhen.

Go On Board and CD Projekt Red announced that The Witcher: Legacy, an officially licensed story-driven board game, will begin shipping its English-language edition in June 2027, according to Screen Rant.

The game is designed for one to four players and supports both solo and co-op play. Its campaign is divided across interconnected scenarios in which players control surviving Witchers from the School of the Wolf.

The story begins after the assault on Kaer Morhen, with players uncovering who was responsible for the attack.

Production for The Witcher: Legacy is planned for January through June next year. The current Gamefound listing shows June 2027 for English pledges, with backers receiving priority over the retail release.

Wider Witcher plans

CD Projekt Red is transitioning players into the Ciri era with The Witcher 4, which is likely to release in 2028 based on recent reports. The new Songs of the Past DLC will give Geralt an official send-off before the protagonist switch, while players are currently experiencing overhauled play-throughs with the new Remastered edition.

Andrzej Sapkowski is working on a new Witcher novel that could potentially arrive around the same time as The Witcher 4, and the final season of the Netflix series is set to air sometime in 2027. Sapkowski's Crossroads of Ravens dates the attack on Kaer Morhen to 1194.
