MARA//KESH Games announces Wizards Never Lie, a four-player online deduction game

Wizards Never Lie is set in a members-only wizards' club and lets players use webcams to spot lies; its Steam page is now open for wishlists.

MARA//KESH Games announced on October 15 that it is developing Wizards Never Lie, a four-player online deduction game, and opened the game's Steam store page the same day, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp.

The game is set in a members-only club for wizards and tasks players with finding out who among them is lying. Players can turn on their webcam to show their face in real time and observe each other's expressions. The club includes four games themed around a revolver, hidden shapes, cards, and poison.

Statements made by other players can be verified at any time, but the number of verifications is limited. Players can also use a magic wand to draw glowing symbols in the air to warn or provoke others. Voice chat is optional, and the game supports 14 languages including Japanese.

The full version of Wizards Never Lie is scheduled for release in November. The Steam store page is accepting wishlist registrations and applications for a closed playtest planned before release.
