WoW: Forever Beta Adds Dalaran Dungeon, Horde Access

Blizzard's City of Dalaran dungeon and Heart of Disruption quest grant the Dalaran Sewer Key, letting Horde players enter the Alliance city.

Blizzard has added the City of Dalaran dungeon and its accompanying quest, Heart of Disruption, to the World of Warcraft: Forever beta, which is now in its fourth week. According to gamesradar.com, completing the dungeon and quest grants the Dalaran Sewer Key, an item that allows entry to Dalaran.

A second quest, Shrewd Negotiations, tasks players with bringing dungeon loot into Dalaran. Horde players who defeat the Archmage in the City of Dalaran can enter the city, where the guards act neutral toward them, though the access is limited: not every NPC's services are available.

Horde players inside Dalaran can still fish for coins in the city's fountain.

Other changes in the beta

Blizzard has also revealed that it is changing the elves in World of Warcraft: Forever to better fit the rest of the MMO. The game is simplifying Blizzard's usual PvP while adding a controversial weekly grind.

The new Skyborne race has drawn controversy over its $30 price tag and its lore implications. The original World of Warcraft launched in 2004.
