Players in the Forever beta have already discovered over 4,400 hidden items. Once found, those items are revealed in the game's backend, turning datamining into a community-driven effort.
Full loot tables for several early-game dungeons have been uncovered, including Wailing Caverns, Ragefire Chasm, Shadowfang Keep, and the Deadmines.
The beta's level cap currently sits at 20 and will be raised to 30 before the test period ends. WoW: Forever's beta is scheduled to end on October 21, with the full launch set for November 4.
Blizzard VP Holly Longdale and other WoW developers have said the beta is breaking player-number records, leading Blizzard to raise the beta's population cap. Separately, a recent streamer scandal involving gold trading has players demanding Blizzard do more to combat real-money transactions and gold buying.
