Xross Road launches TokiMake novel game and chat app on iOS and Web
TokiMake is free to play with in-app purchases and combines a fully voiced novel story with character chat and a creation feature.
Xross Road officially released TokiMake, its novel game and character chat app, for iPhone via the App Store and on the Web on 21 October 2026 at 12:00, according to gamebiz.jp.
TokiMake is free to play with some in-app purchases. It pairs a fully voiced novel game with character chat: players pick an official work aimed at men or women and read a scenario built from five chapters and five endings. Two-choice options at each scene change how other characters react and how the story develops.
With earphones on, tapping anywhere on the screen lets the player operate the game with one finger. After finishing the story, players can talk freely with the same character in chat mode.
A creation feature lets users edit a synopsis and drafts of the five-chapter script, generate illustrations from Japanese instructions, and produce voices adjustable in age, timbre, intonation and speed.
Launch campaign
To mark the release, first-time character creation is free, and Xross Road is awarding points to users who register in the app within 72 hours of release as well as to pre-registrants.
