Nintendo Offers Zelda 40th Anniversary Wallpaper With Ocarina of Time Remake Pre-Orders
Players who pre-order the digital version or buy a copy of the Ocarina of Time remake before November 23 at 11:59 pm PT will receive the wallpaper via email.
Nintendo has announced a Legend of Zelda 40th Anniversary digital wallpaper as a bonus for players who pre-order the digital version of the Ocarina of Time remake or buy a copy before November 23 at 11:59 pm PT, according to gamerant.com.
The wallpaper features the 40th anniversary logo set against a collage of images from multiple classic Zelda games. It will be offered in formats suited to both computer desktops and phones.
Eligible buyers will receive a message at the email address registered to their Nintendo Account after the promotion window closes, containing a link to download the wallpaper.
In October 2025, various retailers worldwide offered multiple different pre-order bonuses for the remake, including a textured foil cover, slipcovers based on the original game, replicas of the Spiritual Stones, a replica of the original Nintendo 64 box, keychains, coasters, wallets, pins, cards and coins.
In the US, the only announced bonuses are the textured foil standard game cover on first-edition physical copies and the wallpaper for digital copies, which drew complaints from Zelda fans on social media. Early previews of the remake have been largely positive, and new clips have shown how much the visuals have improved since the N64 version.
