10 Cloverfield Lane is now streaming for free domestically on Pluto TV, according to Collider. The 2016 thriller, directed by Dan Trachtenberg and produced by J.J. Abrams, is available to watch at no cost in the United States.
The film was released a decade ago and cost around $15 million to produce. Its worldwide gross was roughly in the same range as The End of Oak Street.
Trachtenberg went on to direct Prey, Predator: Killer of Killers and Predator: Badlands, reviving the Predator franchise.
Abrams returns to sci-fi
Some weeks before this streaming release, Abrams returned to science fiction as a producer on The End of Oak Street, directed by David Robert Mitchell. The film received positive reviews but underperformed at the box office, grossing around $120 million worldwide against a reported budget of $80 million.
In the months leading up to its release, rumors suggested The End of Oak Street might be set in the Cloverfield universe. That turned out to be untrue.
