New key art for 9-1-1 season 10 confirms Athena Grant's promotion out of uniformed officer status before the ABC premiere.
Key art for 9-1-1 season 10 shows Athena Grant in a suit with her badge on her waistline rather than in her LAPD uniform, confirming her promotion out of uniformed officer status, according to screenrant.com. The season premieres Thursday, October 15 at 8/7c on ABC.
The change follows Athena's decision at the end of season 9 to take the detective exam after all. She had been a sergeant in the LAPD for the longest time and had repeatedly turned down promotions, including to lieutenant.
Near the end of season 9, Athena dealt with a corrupt cop and a coma dream involving the start of her career and the shooting of her partner.
