The comedy, which airs on ABC, has taken its cameras outside the school before. In an earlier season, the show filmed an episode at a live Phillies game.
Disneyland has hosted scripted series in the past. Modern Family featured a trip to the park in its third season, timed to a 24-hour Leap Day event, and The Goldbergs and George Lopez also shot episodes there. In Season 5 of Abbott Elementary, maintenance issues at the school sent the teachers and students to an abandoned mall for several weeks.
