AGC Studios Launches AGC Digital, Creator-Led Content Division

AGC Studios has launched AGC Digital, a new division dedicated to creator-led content, the company announced. Jared Jacobs has been named SVP of AGC Digital and will report to AGC President Joel Zimmer.

AGC Digital will partner with digital creators to develop their ideas, content, and audiences into entertainment franchises. Jacobs will be responsible for identifying, developing, financing, and commercializing intellectual property from the digital ecosystem.

AGC's Ford said AGC Digital will offer creators an independent studio partner with financing, production, and global distribution for feature films, scripted series, and unscripted formats, while creators retain control of their IP.

Jacobs previously worked with Warner Bros. Unscripted Television on digital strategy, development, creator partnerships, and new IP. He also served as VP of Development at Night Studios, where he helped lead the creator-led entertainment slate and developed projects with digital talent including MrBeast, Kai Cenat, Ryan Trahan, Sam & Colby, Moriah Elizabeth, and Zach King.

Earlier in his career, Jacobs held roles at Blumhouse Television, Mark Wahlberg's Unrealistic Ideas, Endeavor Content (now FIFTH SEASON), and WME. The launch was reported by deadline.com.
