The company is also preparing to premiere Minimum Wage, a short-form pizzeria-set workplace comedy series based on its viral web series. The first 14 episodes debut on October 26, each running 12.5 minutes, with 14 more episodes to follow.
Minimum Wage landed at Netflix earlier this year. Rolling Loud also marked American High becoming the first "Resident Creator" at Georgia's Trilith Studios.
Company background
Founded by Jeremy Garelick nearly a decade ago, American High operates under a first-look output deal with Hulu and launched with initial financial backing from Mickey Liddell's LD Entertainment. Garelick wrote The Break-Up and directed The Wedding Ringer.
The company took over a decommissioned middle school in upstate New York and transformed it into a production facility. It has produced more than 20 features, mostly for Hulu, and acquired additional real estate in the village of Liverpool, including the pizzeria where Minimum Wage was filmed.
