Ariana Madix to Star in Peacock Drama 'Future Housewives'

Ariana Madix is set to star in the drama series Future Housewives, which is in development at Peacock, Deadline reports. The project comes from Brannon Braga and Seth MacFarlane's Fuzzy Door.

Braga will write and executive produce the series. Madix, MacFarlane and Erica Huggins will also serve as executive producers, with Jaron Lanier as co-executive producer. The series is from Universal Global Television.

Future Housewives marks the first scripted project in development from Madix's production company, Over Fences.

Madix's expanding slate

Madix first broke out on Bravo's Vanderpump Rules before becoming host of Peacock's biggest unscripted series. She has since appeared in NBC's St. Denis Medical and ABC's Will Trent, as well as the Lifetime film Buying Back My Daughter and the Roger Corman-produced Attack of the 50 Foot Cheerleader.

In 2024, she made her Broadway debut starring as Roxie Hart in Chicago. She is currently on Broadway as Connie Francis in Just in Time.

Braga is known for his work on the Star Trek franchise, including The Next Generation, Voyager and Enterprise, and previously worked with MacFarlane on The Orville.
