ASOB Media is presenting the docuseries 'A Study on Beauty' to international buyers at MIPCOM Cannes, according to Deadline. The company is also bringing a companion podcast, 'A Student of Beauty,' and a digital short-form series, 'A Beauty Journey,' to the market.

'A Study on Beauty' consists of seven episodes, created and written by Gabbi Pascua and directed by Alan Dennis. Season 1 includes chapters titled 'Through Smoke,' 'Onsen,' and 'Homeland.'

'A Beauty Journey' has already generated over one million organic cross-platform views.

In December 2024, Deadline first reported on the documentary when it was known as 'A Study on Beauty: Through Smoke.' The 'Through Smoke' chapter was filmed on location across France, including Grasse, as well as Spain, Monaco, Switzerland and Italy. The 'Onsen' chapter examines Japan's ancient hot spring bathing rituals and generational healing practices, while 'Homeland' heads to the Philippines to look into matriarchal heritage, colonial history and indigenous traditions.

Dennis previously directed the feature documentary 'What We Share' and worked on music videos for artists including John Legend and Jennifer Lopez. Pascua is a two-time Creative Arts Emmy winner known for her work as a make-up artist on 'The Talk.'
