Avatar: Seven Havens Co-Creator Rules Out Hidden Avatar Between Korra and the Twins
Michael Dante DiMartino says Korra was the Avatar directly before the twin Avatars Pavi and Nisha, with no secret Avatar in between.
Michael Dante DiMartino, co-creator of Avatar: Seven Havens, confirmed in an interview that there is no secret Avatar between Korra and the twin Avatars Pavi and Nisha. According to gamesradar.com, DiMartino stated that Korra was the previous Avatar directly before Pavi and Nisha.
The clarification addresses a question fans had raised about the line of succession in the animated series, which follows the twin Avatars at the centre of its story.
Avatar: Seven Havens airs new episodes every Friday on Paramount Plus. The first three episodes have already been released, and new instalments continue on a weekly schedule.
In October 2025, the series was renewed for seasons 3 and 4 at New York Comic Con. Korra voice actor Janet Varney said she sobbed after seeing Korra villainized in the new show.
Bryan Konietzko, who co-created the Avatar franchise with DiMartino, is also credited on the series.
