Avengers: Endgame Encore Passes $126 Million in a Week

The Marvel re-release's fourth added scene is exclusive to Infinity Vision and IMAX ticket buyers.

Avengers: Endgame Encore has generated over $126 million worldwide in just over a week, according to figures reported by Collider. About half of the re-release's initial domestic box office came from Infinity Vision screens.

The re-release adds roughly four minutes of new footage across four sequences: an extended ending and three post-credits scenes. Only Infinity Vision and IMAX ticket buyers see all four; regular screenings omit the TVA scene.

The extended ending has Loki interrupting Steve Rogers and Peggy Carter's slow dance. One post-credits scene places Bruce Banner in an underground vault, where he hears Doctor Doom's voice saying he is there to collect him. A TVA scene shows Mobius, Ouroboros and Casey watching boards light up with multiple incursions, and the final scene shows Doom hammering out his metal mask.

Disney said from the start that the Infinity Vision and IMAX releases would have an exclusive end tag, and per Deadline the studio is going all-in on Infinity Vision. In October 2025, a re-release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day with extra footage was announced.
