Master Replicas Unveils Battlestar Galactica Cerberus Statue

Master Replicas has confirmed the release of the Battlestar Galactica (Classic) Cerberus Limited Edition statue, a collectible capped at 500 units and priced at $74.99, according to Screen Rant. The company said the products are expected to ship to customers this month.

The statue is made from die-cast and ABS and measures 10.5 inches in length. The Cerberus is one of the battlestars from the original Battlestar Galactica lore.

Background

In the original 1978 Battlestar Galactica, twelve battlestars were mentioned, with only eight named on screen. Three more names — Solaria, Cerberus and Prometheus — were intended to join the Colonial fleet had the series continued. In the early-mid 2000s, Battlestar Galactica returned to television. More recently, Peacock passed on a Battlestar Galactica reboot from Sam Esmail and Universal Content Productions, while writer Simon Kinberg has finished a feature film script for Battlestar Galactica, though production has not started.
