Bleecker Street Taps Frank Martinez as Head of Distribution

Frank Martinez, formerly head of theatrical sales at A24, joins Bleecker Street to oversee distribution for its slate and Crosswalk.

Bleecker Street has named Frank Martinez as its new head of distribution, the company announced. Martinez will oversee theatrical distribution strategies, planning and execution for both the Bleecker Street and Crosswalk slates.

Martinez joins from A24, where he spent three years as head of theatrical sales. During his tenure, A24's annual box office grew from $151 million in 2023 to over $333 million in 2026, with releases including Backrooms, The Drama, The Invite and Marty Supreme.

Before A24, Martinez served as executive director of domestic distribution at Paramount Pictures, working on Top Gun: Maverick and titles in the Mission: Impossible and Scream franchises. He was also a founding member of Film Row and served as its president for two years.

Martinez currently serves as vice president of the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation board. Bleecker Street CEO Kent Sanderson commented on the appointment, according to Variety.
