Blood Sweat Honey has launched Cinema Machine, a new division that will distribute films theatrically and digitally and develop and manage projects, bookings and contracts, according to Variety. The division, announced on October 5, 2026, will include a genre label called Graven Image, focused on horror, sci-fi and cult films.

Chad McKim Miller has joined Cinema Machine as head of distribution and sales. McKim Miller was previously a vice president at Gravitas Ventures.

In separate Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences news, the organization named Reece Feldman as the 99th Oscars social media ambassador and red carpet correspondent. The Oscars will be held on March 14, 2027, at the Dolby Theatre at Ovation Hollywood.

Blood Sweat Honey was co-founded in 2017 by Alex Nohe and Jeff “The Dude” Dowd, the inspiration behind The Big Lebowski. Feldman’s directorial debut short film premiered during the 2025 Cannes Film Festival as part of its partnership with TikTok.
