Blumhouse and IDW Publishing have announced a partnership to develop comic books based on several of the studio's horror properties, according to comingsoon.net. The first titles will adapt M3GAN, The Purge and Happy Death Day, and will be published under IDW's IDW Dark imprint.
Creative teams are set for two of the three books. Dan Watters will write The Purge comic, with artwork by Juan José Ryp. Tim Seeley will write the Happy Death Day comic. The M3GAN comic's creative team has not been fully announced, and no release date has been set for any of the titles.
