Brooks Nader Says Carmen Electra's 'Baywatch' Warning Was Right

Brooks Nader told Deadline that Carmen Electra warned her the 'Baywatch' revival would be physically demanding, and the advice held up.

Brooks Nader said Carmen Electra warned her that filming the Baywatch revival is physically taxing and requires hard work, and that the warning turned out to be accurate. The actress, who plays lifeguard Selene in the Fox revival, discussed the production in an interview with Deadline, according to comingsoon.net.

Nader joins a cast that includes Stephen Amell as Hobie Buchannon, the son of David Hasselhoff's Mitch Buchannon and the captain of Baywatch in the new series. Jessica Belkin, Hassie Harrison, Shay Mitchell, Thaddeus LaGrone and Noah Beck also star.

The revival is set to premiere on Fox on January 6, 2027. Erika Eleniak and David Chokachi are set to reprise their original roles, while Michael Bergin and Kelly Packard are reportedly scheduled to make guest appearances.

Amell said bringing back original cast members is not his decision. Electra, whose warning Nader cited, played Lani McKenzie in the eighth season of the original Baywatch, which ran for 241 episodes, and also appeared in Baywatch Nights and the TV movie Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding.

The 2027 revival continues the story of the original series but is not a direct sequel.
