Carrie Slips to No. 2 on Prime Video as The Terminal List Returns
Mike Flanagan's Stephen King series was overtaken on October 23, two days after The Terminal List released all eight season 2 episodes.
Carrie has dropped to second place on Prime Video's US TV chart, with The Terminal List taking the top spot, according to FlixPatrol data cited by screenrant.com. The switch came on October 23, two days after The Terminal List returned to the service.
The Terminal List released all eight episodes of its second season on Prime Video on October 21. The Chris Pratt-led series first debuted on the platform with season 1 on July 1, 2022.
Carrie, from showrunner Mike Flanagan, had released all of its first-season episodes on October 7. Despite losing the top position, it still ranks above Neagley, Reacher, Off Campus, Sterling Point and Helluva Boss on the US chart.
A second season of Carrie is in development at Prime Video. In September, before the show's release, Flanagan told Collider he had a three-season arc planned for the series.
A crowded Prime Video chart
The chart movement leaves Prime Video with two high-profile series at the top: the returning Terminal List adaptation and Flanagan's take on Stephen King's novel, which remains ahead of several other titles on the platform's US ranking.
